Every now and then it rides me and I get really excited to take pictures with the camera again. Then lasts until about the third picture, when I have to recognize again that I lack a really large amount of talent for it. It can’t be that difficult, basically you just need an eye for perspective and that one, perfect moment – you can just take a photo of a bank and it looks great.
I have also tried several times to capture reflections in puddles, for example – apparently a very easy way to take great photos. The problem: these damn puddles never see and behave so perfectly that you can see the reflection properly. It feels like I need 10 more hands to be able to count how often I’ve tried – every time I’ve failed.
The Spanish photographer Guido Gutiérrez Ruiz, who now lives in Canada, on the other hand, has mastered this perfectly and shows on his Instagram account what really good photos are:
The one who follows him directly on Instagram is smart. And prints as well as further information and even more pictures are of course on his own page.
